Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela School came into existence as a blessed child of The Mother---as a divine gift to the city of Rourkela on Her auspicious Birth Day i.e on 21st February,1973. This is such a blessed school to be so named---so written on the piece of hand made paper by The Divine Mother Herself along with her Divine blessings. The glorious journey of SARS took flight at the auspicious and historic moments when the world was celebrating Sri Aurobindo's Birth Centenary.

I am Aurosmita Routray of class 12 science . I have joined Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela school in class 11th . The teachers are best over here . They are so familiar to each and every student of the school, our teachers take care of us so nicely. The best part of the school is its environment. I never imagined that I would ever come to across such a wonderful place. Truely , I feel blessed and much more lucky to be the part of this school. Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela school has a holistic and spiritual atomsphere.
My journey was enlightening at Sri Aurobindo's Rourkela School, where I have not only gained academic knowledge but also delved into profound insights from the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Through academics and constant study circle classes, I realized the importance of inner transformation and alignment with higher consciousness, shaping my perspective on life academically and spirituality.

It has almost been 8 years so far in this school since I have joined. This school has given me so much knowledge, compassion which extends beyond my academics. It is definitely pulled by growth in a holistic approach. The teachers who have been although my life influencing me, suggesting and encouraging at every step of my life. Being a student of SARS makes me different in thinking and dealing not only with problems, but to find solutions in a proper way. As of, we have always been blessed of Sri Maa and Sri Aurobindo, we grew into a blossoms of peaceful, joyful and a responsible global citizens. Proud to be "SARS"arian"
